David Probasco is the beverage stylist.

When a brand needs its drink to stop the scroll, sell the shelf, or anchor a campaign, they call David. Based in Los Angeles and available to travel, he is one of the few stylists in the country who has built his entire practice around making beverages look extraordinary on camera — from the perfect bead of condensation on a craft lager to the theatrical pour of an aged tequila.

His client list reads like a premium bar cart: Grey Goose, Clase Azul, Teramana Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Elijah Craig, Absolut, Chivas Regal, Bud Light, Coors Light, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray, and many more. His work has appeared on a Bloomberg Businessweek cover and across national advertising campaigns for some of the most recognized brands in food and beverage.

David brings something rare to set: he is a Johnson & Wales–trained chef who spent years cooking for dignitaries across three continents as a U.S. Coast Guard personal chef before dedicating himself fully to styling. That culinary depth means he doesn’t just make drinks look good — he understands flavor, texture, and why certain things behave the way they do in front of a lens. It makes him faster, more precise, and a genuine creative partner to the photographers and directors he works with.

When a shoot also calls for food, David handles that too — seamlessly. His food work spans editorial, broadcast, appliance brands, and retail, and it carries the same boutique attention to detail that defines everything he does.

DP Styling is a boutique practice by design. Every project gets David — his hands, his eye, his standards.
